Stephen E. Pike Steve was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, the son of a career military officer. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He also received a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Upon graduation, Steve joined Citizens and Southern National Bank in Atlanta, Georgia, which later became NationsBank. After completing the credit training program, Steve joined the National Division and spent seven years in the bank's New York Regional Office. Following his New York assignment, Steve returned to Atlanta to manage the bank's Employee Trust business in Georgia. After three years in Atlanta, Steve moved to Charlotte where he managed the Employee Benefit departments in North and South Carolina. In 1998, Steve left NationsBank to join Central Carolina Bank, where he managed personal trust sales and administration in several markets including Durham, Orange, Wake, and New Hanover counties. Steve joined Investors Title in October 2003 to help launch the Company's trust and investment management business. Steve is active in the community and has served on the boards of the CCB Foundation, The Durham Historical Preservation Society (treasurer), the Vestry of St. Phillips Episcopal Church (treasurer) and the Durham Educational Network (Development Chair). Currently Steve is serving on the Boards of the Durham Library Foundation (vice president) and Carolina Meadows. |

Carlisle Whitlock CIO and Managing Director Carlisle was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina and graduated from The Citadel – B.S. Business Administration and the University of South Carolina – MBA. Carlisle joined Investors Title in 2003 after 25 years in asset management, primarily in Trust Investments. He has managed both Equity and Fixed Income accounts for foundations, retirement plan groups, corporations, individuals, and as the senior manager of an equity mutual fund. He has served as Senior Trust Investment Officer at both Centura Bank and Central Carolina Bank/National Commerce Financial of the Carolinas. He and his wife, Kathy, have three daughters and live in Durham, NC. Carlisle is a retired U.S. Army officer and spends his free time at his farm in South Carolina. |

William Collier IV
Bill received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1982 and has been in the securities industry since 1983. Prior to joining Investors Trust Company, Bill was a Portfolio Manager with SunTrust Banks and Central Carolina Bank in Chapel Hill where he worked with institutional and high net worth clients. He served as co-manager for the CCMI Equity Fund, a mutual fund which later merged into the STI Classic Large Cap Core Equity Fund. Bill was the past president of a private investment advisory firm and managing general partner of a private equity investment partnership. He is a United Way supporter and a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and Ducks Unlimited. |

Nancy M. Foy Nancyhas more than thirty years of experience in actuarial, investment and (qualified and non-qualified) retirement plan services. In New York, she spent ten years in actuarial services, including eight years as the managing director of a consulting firm. After moving to Richmond in 1983, she worked for Crestar Bank as a senior administration officer and department manager for almost ten years. In 1992, Nancy moved to North Carolina and joined First Union Bank, initially to open a retirement services office in Raleigh and then as the manager of trust administration for North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Nancy joined Central Carolina Bank in 1995 and spent six years working as an administrative and new business consultant. She left Central Carolina Bank in 2001 and joined Invesmart, a national retirement services firm. Nancy joined Investors Trust Company in 2006 as Vice President. She attended the City University of New York and UNC Chapel Hill, has earned the professional designations of Certified Retirement Services Professional and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor and has the 6, 63, and 65 security licenses. Nancy has two daughters, lives in Hillsborough and volunteers with children and family organizations. |

Fred Hill Fred received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Wake Forest University. He entered the trust and investment management business with First Union and held several senior management positions with BB&T and CCB (now SunTrust). Fred joined Investors Trust Company in 2006 after retirement from SunTrust in 2005. Fred is well-known among tax and estate planning specialists in the Charlotte area and participates in various professional organizations. Fred and his wife, Martha, have two adult daughters and live on Lake Norman. He is very involved with Williamson Chapel United Methodist Church having served as Finance Chairman for the past eight years. |

Email: bforeman@invtrust.com Ben was born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina. He graduated from East Carolina University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He entered the financial services industry upon graduation as a personal banker with Wachovia. Earning his securities license in 1991 Ben served in a variety of roles with Centura Bank including Product and Sales Manager for its Trust division. More recently he supported clients in 14 states as Senior Regional Director for Voyageur Asset Management. Ben lives in the Triangle area with his wife, Roslyn, and their twin sons Hank and Bill. Outside work, he enjoys hiking, whitewater kayaking, and tennis. |

Virginia (Ginger) B. Rouse Ginger is a native of Durham, North Carolina. She earned a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Industrial Relations. Upon graduation, Ginger relocated to Richmond, Virginia where she worked six years for Security Federal Savings & Loan, which later became Crestar Bank. Ginger joined Central Carolina Bank in 1992 as an Account Administrator in the trust and investment management division located in Durham, North Carolina. In 1995, Ginger graduated from Southeastern Trust School at Campbell University and transferred to Greensboro, North Carolina as a Trust administrator. During her fifteen years with Central Carolina Bank, now SunTrust Bank, she managed client relationships totaling over $60 million in assets. She joined Investors Trust Company in 2008 as an Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager. Ginger is active in her community as a member of the Estate Planning Council, Association of Junior Leagues and her church as a leader of small group studies. She enjoys spending her free time reading, bike riding, traveling, attending the theatre and watching ACC sports. |

Josephine Watta Josephine Watta is the senior client administrator responsible for working with the company’s officers and clients. Jo attended Hunter College of the City University of New York and the State University of New York where she studied education. Prior to joining the company, Jo worked for ABB Incorporated and CheckFree Investment Services as an administrative assistant in the company’s sales and marketing division. |

James A. Hicks Jim began his career in retail and commercial banking with NCNB in 1973. Eileen Marnell Eileen Marnell joined Investors Trust Company in 2008. She and her husband, Dr. Michael Marnell, Ph.D., currently reside in Durham, NC. Eileen is an active member of the Choral Society of Durham where she serves as a Youth and Music Minister. |

Jane grew up in Carrboro, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 1988. Before working for Investors Title Insurance Company, Jane worked for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Office of External Relations and in the Office of Academic Affairs from 2002-2004. She also worked for Nations Bank (now Bank of America) from 1989-1996. Jane has lived in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Cary and Raleigh, North Carolina and now resides in Carrboro, North Carolina. Jane is a Children’s Ministry Coordinator and enjoys spending time with her two children Meredith and Shelby.

Andrew Herrnstein, CFA

Mr. Herrnstein began his career in the Air Force in Charleston, SC and later earned his degree from the College of Charleston. Upon graduation in 1992, Andrew pursued his interest in finance with the VA Medical Center in Charleston and then as an Equity Analyst with Moody’s Investors Service in Charlotte, NC. In 1998, he joined Wachovia National Bank in Charlotte, where he was a Vice President–Senior Portfolio Manager. Over the course of twelve years with Wachovia, Andrew gained extensive experience with designing, implementing, and managing investment portfolios for individuals, corporations, trusts, and pensions. In addition to earning the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Andrew is a member of the Board of Directors of the CFA North Carolina Society. He enjoys biking, running, hiking, and camping. Andrew is an Eagle Scout and is active in the Boy Scouts. Recently, Andrew earned a scholarship for and completed Keith Ferrazzi's Relationship Masters Academy program.
